2024 The Virginia You Love Issue: Remarkable Bridges of Virginia: A celebration of spectacular spans

Saturday, August 10, 2024

About the cover:  Welcome to the annual “Virginia You Love” issue of VTC! Every July/August we feature some aspect of being outdoors in Virginia and for 2024 it’s bridges! From the shore to the mountains, Virginia has so many amazing and unique bridges it was hard to pick the ones we wanted to present. But pick them we did, and present them we have (including Richmond’s misleadingly named Nickel Bridge photographed for the cover by VML’s own Manuel Timbreza). Enjoy!

Water Quality Considerations

Monday, March 18, 2024

About the cover: In 1941 Bob Nolan and the Sons of the Pioneers melodically asked: “Can you see that big, green tree? Where the water’s runnin’ free. And it’s waitin’ there for me and you? Water, cool, clear water.” Things have changed a bit since then. But, rather than try to find rhymes for things like Polyfluorinated Substances, it would be a whole lot better to keep improving our water. Find out more about efforts to do just that inside.

100 Years: Celebrating 100 years of VML's magazine

Monday, February 19, 2024

But a magazine is so much more than its cover and we’re glad you’ve turned the page and opened this issue marking 100 years of VML having a magazine! More memories to explore inside.
